National medals from the Kingdom of Serbia, Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenians and Kingdom of Yugoslavia period (1913–1941), belong in the first category. In the second, much larger category, belong medals of highest rank from foreign countries (1919–1956) most of them awarded for mediating and establishing diplomatic relations with FPR of Yugoslavia. Rare copies of Spanish, Italian, Polish, Belgian, Egyptian and Greek official declarations, diplomas and charters are being kept along with medals. When the Pavle Beljanski family had donated his personal belongings intended for exhibiting to the Pavle Beljanski Memorial Hall in 1966, among them were also 24 valuable distinctions. Collection of his medals was introduced for the first time to the public in 2005 as a part of Pavle Beljanski: Diplomacy and Art exhibition.
